FAQ
Frequently Asked
What age can vaccinations be given?
Puppies from 6 weeks of age and kittens from 8 weeks of age however, some may benefit from delaying this a little bit if there are any other health concerns. Please contact us to discuss the best option for your puppy or kitten.
Why is my pet vomiting?
The cause of vomiting can vary widely. It could be a simple case of gastroenteritis, something more serious like a blockage or a variety of other things. Please contact us to discuss your pets symptoms and make an appointment to ensure the correct investigation and treatment can be given quickly.
Why is my pet scratching?
Fleas are the most common cause however, there are other possibilities including allergies, infections, immune mediated diseases and many more. Please make an appointment with the Vet to investigate and treat your pet’s condition.
Why is my pet losing weight?
There are lots of different conditions that can cause weight loss. We need to know what other symptoms may have been noticed including reduced appetite, increased drinking, behaviour changes, lethargy etc. A simple blood test is often recommended to also help determine the cause and aid us in recommending the most appropriate course of action to get you pet feeling better quickly.
